About

This site is made by one indie maker who got tired of the same question: what is this actually going to cost? Every AI builder quotes a monthly price and then bills in something else — credits, tokens, checkpoints — and none of the pricing pages tell you how many of those a working app takes.

So this does. It prices apps in each platform’s native units, taxes you for iteration honestly, and shows its math. Three decisions follow from that:

  • Native units. Lovable credits stay credits, Bolt tokens stay tokens, Replit and v0 stay in dollars. Converting everything to a single made-up score would look tidier and tell you less.
  • An honest iteration tax. Nobody one-shots an app. Estimates that assume you will are marketing, so every receipt here multiplies by how you actually prompt and adds a debug surcharge on top.
  • Visible math. The formula, the sources, the dates and the ranges are all published. If you think a number is wrong, you can see exactly which number to argue with.

There is no team, no funding round and no history to embellish. There is a data file, a pure estimator function, and a changelog for when platforms move the goalposts. Read the methodology →

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a platform through one of them, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same as going direct — and it is what keeps the receipts printing.

Commissions never influence the cheapest pick. The cheapest platform on any receipt is calculated by the same estimator function on every page, using the same published data. It has no idea which links pay. If the cheapest option earns us nothing, it is still the one wearing the scissors.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any of the platforms compared here. All prices are our reading of public pricing on the dates shown, and every estimate carries a ±40% band for a reason.
